A Life Well Lived
Clyde Earvin Love Sr. was born to Quintrell & Rhodie Mae Love in Bakersfield, California on May 29th, 1948. He departed this earthly life on Friday, March 29th 2024 at his residence in Colton, California.
Later in life Clyde received the priceless gift of the Holy Spirit and was baptized. He lived his entire life for his kids and grandkids because they brought him joy. He loved watching football every season, and western movies. He also loved his Motown oldies, and loved spending time with his precious family. Clyde was known for his generous, kind-hearted, and great sense of humor.
Our father also proceeded in death of his wife JoAnn Gulley Love. Mother: Rhodie Mae Love Abraham , Father: Quintrell Love. Brother’s: Alton Simms, Lenford L. Love, Glen Quintrell Love. Sister’s: Annie Pearl Davis, & Emma Love.
Clyde is survived by his children: Stacy Love, Vickie Love, Cheehsa Chambers, Clyde Earvin Love Jr., Deshan Love Sr. & daughter in law Cristal M. Love. Grandchildren: Jasmin Love, Kierra Thomas, Clyde Earvin Love III, Samuel Thomas, Brandy Thomas, Malachi Love, Roosevelt Love, Elijah Love & Deshan Love Jr.
He also leaves in celebration of his surviving siblings: Herbert Love, Deborah Love Daughtery, Annette Love Freeling, Denise Abraham, Vicky Abraham Jordan and a host of nieces/ nephews. Beyond being a father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Our father was a divine gift. Our dad was a good parent who loved his children and grandchildren who constantly enabled us to do our best, and assisted us with our school work. Particularly the new arithmetic. He was an extremely smart man!
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always remembered in our hearts. We are sincerely grateful to the many friends and family who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss.
